The Piedmont Jazz Alliance (PJA) was inspired by a love for all things jazz and a desire to bring together those who share our passion. It is the mission of PJA to provide a forum for jazz enthusiasts to meet, discuss and enjoy the music we love. We will get together on several occasions monthly to support jazz events in an effort to foster and encourage a greater appreciation of the jazz experience. We are excited about this group and look forward to building a really great experience together. So, if you’re looking to connect with others who share your passion for jazz or want to learn about the music, then PJA is for you.

Membership

There is not a membership fee required to join the group. However, there will be a fee for PJA events to cover costs. Payment may be made via PayPal on this site or at the event venue.

Please fill out your profile completely and add a picture so that we can better serve you. Membership Will Not Be Approved Without A Completed Profile.


Meet-ups

The success of the group relies on the participation of the members. We encourage you to get involved and come out to the scheduled events, and submit your event suggestions. Your event does not have to be a performance but must be jazz related.

Behavior

Group members should never feel threatened by other members' behavior. This includes racist, sexist, or offensive language, harassment, or any other threatening behavior and will result in your being removed from the group. If you are uncomfortable with another member's behavior at events or on the website let the organizer know right away.

Member Contact

Members are encouraged to use the website to contact each other when mutually desired, but please bear in mind that not everyone likes being contacted. Please respect others privacy. When in doubt filter comments and questions through the organizer.
